FAQs
Epigenetics refers to changes in gene activity that do not alter the DNA sequence but can affect gene expression. These changes are influenced by various factors such as lifestyle, environment, and age. Understanding epigenetics allows us to see how external factors can impact our genetic code and overall health.

Galleri® Cancer Detection Test
Early Cancer Detection with the Galleri® Test
Detect 50 types of cancer with one simple blood test. Early detection provides knowledge to inform decision making.
Galleri® is a multi-cancer early detection test, a blood test that screens for many of the deadliest cancers before they become symptomatic, including those with no recommended screening tests today.
Is the Galleri test right for you?
Aspire Vitality proudly offers the Galleri®i test by Grail. This test can identify a signal that is shared by over 50 types of cancer. It can also predict the cancer signal origin with incredible accuracy to help guide next steps. With one simple blood test, you can unlock answers that offer peace of mind, or the power of knowledge.
What to Expect?
One simple blood draw is all it takes to get answers. The Galleri early cancer detection test blood draw takes just minutes to collect in our office. Results are available within a few days and will be released to your Aspire Vitality medical provider so they can review them with you.
FAQs
Through a blood sample, Galleri looks for a signal associated with active cancer. Every time you take the test, Galleri checks more than 100,000 DNA regions and over a million specific DNA sites to screen for a signal shared by 50+ cancers at the time of your blood draw. If a cancer signal is detected, results from the test can predict the tissue type or organ associated with the cancer signal. More information can be found on the Galleri website.
The Galleri test is not covered by medical insurance at this time. The out of pocket cost for the Galleri test is $999.
The Galleri test is recommended for use in adults with an elevated risk for cancer, such as those aged 50 or older. The Galleri test is intended to be used in addition to, and not replace, other cancer screening tests your healthcare provider recommends. Use of Galleri is not recommended in individuals who are pregnant, 21 years old or younger, or undergoing active cancer treatment.
No. The Grail test is not an alternative to other screenings. It should be done in addition to cancer screenings recommended based on age or family history, such as mammograms, colonoscopies, etc.
A “Cancer Signal Detected” result is expected in approximately 1% or 1 out of 100 Galleri tests in people over 50 years of age. In a recent clinical study, on average, 4 out of 10 people with a “Cancer Signal Detected” result received a cancer diagnosis with diagnostic testing, and 1 out of 200 people without cancer received a “Cancer Signal Detected” result.
(Positive Predictive Value was 43% and False Positive rate was 0.5%)
Food Inflammation & Gut Health Testing
Identify Hidden Food Sensitivities & Optimize Your Gut Health
At Aspire Vitality, we recognize that food sensitivities and gut health play a vital role in overall wellness. The Food Inflammation Test (FIT) and Gut Barrier Panel provide insight into how certain foods and additives may be affecting your body, contributing to inflammation, digestive discomfort, fatigue, joint pain, and other chronic symptoms.
These advanced tests measure IgG antibodies and immune complexes (IgG 1-4/C3d) to detect food sensitivities, while the Gut Barrier Panel evaluates intestinal permeability and immune function.
Food Inflammation Test (Fit)
The FIT Test measures immune responses to foods and additives that may be triggering inflammation in your body. This helps identify potential dietary triggers for:
✅ Digestive Issues – Bloating, gas, diarrhea, or constipation
✅ Chronic Fatigue – Feeling sluggish or tired despite adequate sleep
✅ Joint & Muscle Pain – Unexplained aches and inflammation
✅ Headaches & Migraines – Linked to food sensitivities
✅ Skin Issues – Acne, eczema, rashes
✅ Weight Management Challenges – Difficulty losing or maintaining weight
Available Fit Test Options:
🔹 FIT 176 – Evaluates reactivity to 176 foods and additives
🔹 FIT 132 – Evaluates reactivity to 132 foods and additives
🔹 FIT 22 – Screens for 22 common food sensitivities
✔ Easy Sample Collection – Blood spot sample (serum option also available)
✔ Comprehensive Report – Identifies specific food sensitivities to guide dietary changes
Gut Barrier Panel
Your gut barrier is essential for immune defense, digestion, and nutrient absorption. A compromised gut lining, often referred to as "leaky gut," can allow harmful substances to enter the bloodstream, triggering immune responses and inflammation.
The Gut Barrier Panel evaluates:
🔹 Zonulin – A key marker for intestinal permeability (leaky gut indicator)
🔹 Occludin & Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) – Measures gut lining integrity
🔹 IgA 1 & 2 – Immune function and mucosal protection
🔹 Candida Overgrowth – Detects imbalances in gut flora
✅ Included with FIT 176 & FIT 132
✅Available as a standalone test
💲 Zonulin Test: $75.00

Advanced Hormone Panels: a Comprehensive Approach to Hormonal Health
At Aspire Vitality, we go beyond conventional hormone testing to provide a deeper understanding of your hormonal balance and metabolic health. Standard lab tests often fail to capture the full picture, which is why we offer comprehensive hormone panels designed to uncover hidden imbalances that may be affecting your energy, mood, metabolism, and overall well-being.
Why Advanced Hormone Testing?
Traditional hormone tests typically assess only a few markers, often using single-time blood draws that may not fully reflect daily hormonal fluctuations. Our advanced hormone panels provide a more complete and functional assessment, using innovative saliva, urine, and specialized blood tests to measure:
✅ Hormone Metabolism – How your body processes and eliminates hormones
✅ Diurnal Cortisol Patterns – Measures stress response and adrenal function
✅ Estrogen Dominance & Androgen Balance – Evaluates estradiol, progesterone, and testosterone ratios
✅ Methylation & Detoxification Pathways – Assesses how well hormones are cleared from your system
✅ Thyroid Function & Reverse T3 – Goes beyond TSH to assess active thyroid hormone levels
What Our Advanced Panels Measure?
- Comprehensive Sex Hormone Panel
Assesses the delicate balance of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and related metabolites, providing insight

Measures cortisol levels throughout the day to assess adrenal function and stress resilience. Chronic stress can lead to:
✔ Fatigue & burnout
✔ Anxiety & mood disorders
✔ Sleep disturbances
✔ Weight gain & blood sugar imbalances - Thyroid Optimization Panel
Goes beyond TSH to include free T3, free T4, reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies, helping identify:
✔ Undiagnosed hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s
✔ Subclinical thyroid dysfunction
